"Personnel are standby to anticipate unwanted things in locations we've determined before," he said, Monday (12/23).

Atok added that the personnel will also ready to secure any Christmas praying even though there is no church on Seribu Islands.

His side will cooperate with Seribu Island Interfaith Communication Forum (FKUB) to make sure that there are residents or communities who wish to perform worship.

According to him, his side also prepares two patrol boats to monitor tourists safety on the islands.

Related with the new year's eve, Atok has cooperated with Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency since there will be an event on Tuesday (12/31).

"The new year's eve celebration only lasts until afternoon. But we're still monitoring it," he added.

Moreover, he appealed to residents and tourists not to light fireworks in residential areas during the celebration. They are directed to light fireworks in coastal areas far from residential areas by considering the wind direction.

"Hopefully the Nataru celebration will be lively. So please maintain health and safety," he stated.
